Snibbler
But why would anybody want to read yet another cat or dog strip?
Still, I agree that a strip about a snail doesn't have legs, so to speak. I don't know how far I could have gone with it and its Krazy Kat-inspired moonscape nowhereville setting. But it does have a certain poetic whimsy. Snibbler is actually a reinvention of a comic I drew as a young teenager and published in A Publication, the newsletter of Therafields, the cult-like Toronto organization I grew up in. I may post those source comics at some point, if my egocentricism grows at a cancerous rate.
Snibbler is a precursor to Turtle Creek, which I drew four years later. Note the computer and Snibbler's face. I'm attracted to organisms that live in shells. Perhaps that's why I don't eat shellfish.
